Contract manufacturing

Made under your brand.
At the standard your brand needs.

You bring the formulation and the brand; we bring technology, production and documentation. The product goes to market under your name — Sahya acts as manufacturer, not competitor.

Who we work with

Our partners

Our partners know the food supplement market, their products and their technical limits. That makes cooperation fast and efficient for both sides.

Established brands

You have products, distribution and customers, and need a manufacturing partner with reliable capacity and documentation.

Distributors and retailers

You are building a private label and need a manufacturer that handles series and repeat orders at consistent quality.

Industry manufacturers

You need extra capacity or a technology you do not have — typically wet granulation or capsule filling.

Process

Six steps, clear rules

  1. 1

    1 · Technical brief

Composition, dosage form, dose, target quantity and deadline. Without quantity and deadline there is no price.

  2. 2

    2 · Technical assessment

Bulk density, compressibility, need for granulation and excipients, tablet or capsule size. Result: confirmation or a proposed change.

  3. 3

    3 · Quotation

Unit price by batch size, lead time and split of supplies: raw materials, packaging, labels, artwork.

  4. 4

    4 · Pilot batch

Weight, hardness, disintegration and appearance verified. Production starts only after approval.

  5. 5

    5 · Production

Manufacturing to the approved process, with a batch record and a retained sample for every batch.

  6. 6

    6 · Packing and hand-over

Bottling, labelling, batch and best-before marking, final inspection and hand-over for collection.

Division of work

Who provides what

The default split. It can be adjusted per project — we can also source raw materials and packaging on request.

The customer provides

What makes the product yours.

  • Formulation or product specification
  • Raw materials (or their specification for purchasing)
  • Packaging and labels or their artwork
  • Label wording and responsibility for claims

Sahya provides

What turns a formulation into a product.

  • Technical assessment and process design
  • Wet granulation, drying, blending
  • Rotary tableting or capsule filling
  • Bottling, labelling, batch marking
  • Batch documentation and traceability

We check together

What must not be missed.

  • Composition compliant with food supplement rules
  • Mandatory particulars and warnings on the pack
  • Recommended daily portion
  • Data for notification before placing on the market

Before you write

Contract manufacturing is an industrial discipline

To save time on both sides, a few things stated plainly.

01

Minimum order quantity

We produce in industrial batches. The minimum quantity is set per product and technology — this is not a service for a few dozen units.

02

Technical limits

Not every idea can be compressed or filled. We assess it professionally and tell you openly what is realistic.

03

A complete brief

Composition, dose, form, quantity and deadline. With a complete brief you get a fast answer with concrete numbers.

04

Product responsibility

The food business operator selling the product is responsible for placing it on the market. We expect you to know that role.

Regulation

A food supplement is a food, not a medicine

In the European Union a food supplement is a food. It must not be presented as treating, alleviating or preventing disease — not in the claims, not in the marketing next to the product.

What you may say is governed by authorised health claims. The pack has to carry the mandatory particulars: the words “food supplement”, the composition, the recommended daily portion, and warnings not to exceed it, that the product is no substitute for a varied diet and that it should be kept out of the reach of children.

Responsibility for the label sits with the operator placing the product on the market. If we see wording in the artwork that would not survive an inspection, we flag it before printing — it is cheaper than a recall.

In the Czech Republic a food supplement has to be notified before it is first sold. The manufacturing-side data for it — composition, dosage, batch marking — comes with the goods.
